Good to see a decent turn out for the Sessions and Saisons comp/People's Choice award at the March meeting last night. There were some really cracking beers in the mix and I'm sure the judges will have a hard time making a decision on the final line up of winners!! Items discussed and dates to remember
- Autumnfest is on APRIL 13, same place, same time. All the financial members will be reminded of the location next club meet. Like to come along and not a member yet? Talk to our club committee members on how to join. This year David Ong BBQ Master will be preparing the brisket and pulled pork. CANT WAIT!!!
- Iron Brewer - People's Choice at June Meeting (June 11) and BJCP judging on Saturday June 15. The secret ingredient is FRUIT and the brief is "Showcase the Fruit", any fruit of your coice but it must be showcased and you can only use one fruit type per brewed beer, not a mixed combination of fruit
- Committee meeting was held and we discussed: Oktoberfest; Collaboration brew with DTC and Bright Tank Brewing; Ride Share subsidies for club competition judging; Club Finances; Autumnfest; AND the WA State Amateur Brewers Competition. I'll be posting something up on Peth HomeBrew Share regarding the state comp so keep your eyes peeled
The BJCP results from the February IPA competition were discussed and handed out. Well done to Michael Priest for taking out the prize of the INKBIRD fermentation temp controller
Catch you all in April for good beer, and good fellowship
